ASSISTANT GRANT
One company. Explicit permissions.
01 Every company has a boundary.
02 Every assistant has a scope.
03 You stay in control.
LESS FRICTION. MORE CLARITY.
A workspace for accountants and finance teams who want useful context with deliberate access.
Connect QuickBooks Online companies inside your organization. Keep sandbox and production connections separate.
Choose the companies and read permissions for an assistant grant. Share access to the context the work requires.
Read financial reports and overdue items, review recent activity, and revoke grants when the work is done.
CLEAR BOUNDARIES, BUILT IN
Start with the organization. Narrow to the company. Choose the permitted reads.
QUICKBOOKS CONTEXT, EXPLAINED
OmniQB connects selected AI assistants to QuickBooks Online context through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Your organization chooses the companies and read operations each assistant can access.
Ask an assistant to help explain a permitted profit and loss or balance sheet report. Verify its interpretation against the source report before making decisions.
Read permitted invoice and overdue-item information to prepare your own follow-up. This does not send reminders or collect payments.
Limit an assistant grant to selected companies and read permissions. Review audit activity and revoke access when the work is complete.
Sign in, create or join an organization, connect an authorized sandbox company, and review the assistant’s read permissions. Test a permitted read and a denied operation before using real financial information.
Read the setup and client acceptance guidePayment and accounting writes are unavailable in the current public workflow. Do not treat document uploads or production use as accepted capabilities. Client acceptance and Intuit onward-AI-sharing review remain pending.
Membership roles, company boundaries, environment separation and assistant grants constrain access. Audit activity helps review usage. These controls are not a claim of SOC 2 certification or provider approval.
OmniQB is operated by Brotsky, LLC. It is an independent product, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Intuit or QuickBooks. Intuit and QuickBooks are registered trademarks of Intuit Inc.
For the underlying authorization flow, see Intuit’s authorization documentation. For the assistant protocol, see the official MCP architecture guide. Provider documentation explains those services; it does not establish OmniQB’s production approval.
